Welcome Back to Kalamazoo

Hi Everyone! For all those that wanted lessons you are in luck. The J. Straka Music Studio is back in business... in Kalamazoo, MI. :)

Please give a call or email to have lessons in person or via Zoom. I'm willing to work with schedules and make arrangements to make lessons possible. 

Remember: music is fun for all ages, it produces many positive results, and it's a lifelong skill.

Let's start playing some tunes.  

Never Too Late To Learn Music

It's never too late to follow your dreams.

2018 has started out great. I couldn't be more proud of all my students. I have ALL age ranges in my studio. All skill levels. And various musical talents being learned by all students.

Whether it's a Christmas Present or a Personal Goal, find the right teacher and start those lessons.

To practice: 10 minutes a day is a great start.
(For young children, athletic teenagers, busy adults, anyone... just 10 minutes a day you will start to see improvement.)

One of my students favorite aspects about me as their teacher: Everyone feels comfortable in my studio. We learn and grow together. No question is dumb. All concerns are addressed. And we have fun each week.
